This is not your standard website. It is hosted on a single
index.html file, however when clicking on the first
link of the website, you will be directed to a PDF document,
(this PDF document). You can navigate through the website by
using the links within the PDF that take you to new PDF’s and if
you would like to return to this main PDF, or the main
index.html page, you can navigate towards any page
where the link to both will be provided on the bottom of the
page.
Naturally, just like any PDF, you can print each page out if you like, and own a physical copy of the website (not that you can use it again in the browser physically).
The concept for this website came from that idea that links can
be added to PDF documents, which users can click on to be
redirected to a website. Here the PDF documents link to each
other, and to the one hosting index.html page.
All of these PDFs were created via the use of LaTeX, a document preparation system used for the communication and publication of scientific documents. Although nothing “scientific” is within the website, the concept is a novice one.
The website will also contain ads in the form of .png images or .gif.
